If you DB2020 Model is not in the list
select another DB2020 model for ppatching
like this if you have k770 select k610
You will need a
Main Generic
and a
Fs file with your region
Dont forget to backup the GDFS and never write a GDFS from another phone to yours.
Start XS++
Turn off the phone.
Press the button connect.
Press and hold "C" button on the phone and connect the cable.

LoginIf your phone is DB2020 CID49/51 XS++ Will ask you if you want to upgrade the EROM answer yes.

LoginBackup GDFS
Select GDFS in configuration.
Press the button backup GDFS.

LoginUnbranda:
Select flash in configuration.
Tick the box flash main firmware and browse for your main file.
Tick the box flash file system and browse for your FS file.
Tick the box customize file system.
Select phone model and region for your FS file.
Press flash and wait.

LoginIf xs++ dont have your customize pack then create a folder named own_custpack
in xs++ folder unpack your downloaded cust pack and put it in that folder
the order of the files should be like this own_custpack/tpa/preset
Create patch
Start simox patch generator
Open main file in the patch generator
Press the button make patch
you will find the patch in a folder named vkp in the same folder as the patch generator.
Patcha telefonen
starta setool
1.Select model in phone type.
2.Tick the box bypass DB2020 security.
3.Press the button add and browse for your main file.
4.add the .vkp patch file generated with the patch generator in MISC files.
5.Press the button flash.

Loginsetool will ask you to
REMOVE CABLE FROM PHONE
REMOVE BATTERY FROM PHONE, THEN INSERT IT BACK
THEN PRESS "READY"
Do that.
after you done that setool will show
HOLD "C" BUTTON AND ATTACH PHONE
dont disconnect the phone setool will continue anyway.
in the end a new window will appear with the text press yes to remove patch no to apply press the NO button

Elapsed:3415 secs.
Now you can remove the cable dont remove the cable before that.
How to patch DB2010/2012
Start Setool2 Lite.
Turn off the phone.
1. Press identify button.
Press and hold "C" button on the phone and connect the cable.
2. Choose Model.
3. Add .vkp in misc field.
4. press Flash button.
Press NO to apply patch Press Yes to delete patch.
